The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies is a course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical beauty therapy skills by achieving mandatory units such as face and body electrotherapy and body massage. Overview The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills as a beauty therapist to enable you to provide a range of beauty therapy treatments. This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications. Learners who wish to undertake this qualification must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services qualification or a regulated equivalent. Progression VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments VTCT Level 4 Award in Skin Blemish Removal (if electrical epilation is chosen as an optional unit) VTCT Level 4 Award in Physiology for Advanced Beauty Therapy. Units to be covered Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon/Client care and communication in beauty related industries /Provide facial electrotherapy treatments /Provide body electrotherapy treatments /Provide body massage/Apply micro dermabrasion/epilation. Duration – 19 days, one day a week over 4/5 months, IQA and EQA extra days to be arranged. Every Wednesday. Course cost £1500 * You will need level 2 beauty to get on this course.
